Description of resource: We provide palliative care consultative services to patients hospitalized at University or Memorial Campuses at UMass Memorial Medical Center, as well as to patients in our weekly outpatient clinic. Our goal is to improve quality of life for people living with serious illness and their families. Our team of doctors, nurses, and specialists work closely with your other doctors to provide an extra layer of support. We support patients at any age and at any stage of a serious illness, and palliative care can be provided together with curative treatment.
