Loss of a Parent

Post by andreaA » Tue Aug 28, 2018 8:46 pm

It's been two weeks since my mom passed away. The pain isn't so constant now, but some days are incredibly difficult. I still haven't had a day when I don't cry. I need to take care of my own children and family, but cannot stop thinking about the loss of my mom. Thank you for listening, and I hope others will share what their own grieving processes and experiences were like.

My Dad passed February 28th, I am struggling. We were so close and his loss is overwhelming. Im trying to care for my Mom whose health has declined since he passed and I feel like this sadness will never pass. My parents were together since they were 16..married 53 years..my Mom is trying so hard to be okay and not worry us but she has aged in these few months, her COPD much worse..wont move in with my sister or myself...we are a mess...when does losing a parent become bearable?
