My father was just diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, and I'm wondering what types of changes should we make to our home to make it safer and more comfortable for him? It sounds like child-proofing once again. Other than removing dangerous items from the kitchen and making the bathroom slip-free, does anyone have any other recommendations? Trying to make sense of what seems like a never-ending list of precautions. Also, would love to hear how people were able to keep medication locked away safely. Thank you!
