End With Care Management
Rick Goldstone brings a background in strategic planning, program development, training, marketing and website applications to the End With Care board. He is the creator of an esteemed end-of-life resource developed for the former Massachusetts Commission on End of Life Care. A creation of the Massachusetts Legislature, the Commission brought together a blue-ribbon panel of experts to study and propose ideas to meet the increasing needs of those in the final stages of life. This earlier work serves as the conceptual foundation for the End With Care endeavor. In addition to a career as a communications consultant, he previously served on the Board of Directors of the Artists Foundation. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh and holds a Master’s Degree in Education from Boston University.
Ron Sanfield has an extensive background in public sector management, and private nonprofit grant writing and development. He served in several positions within the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services, in areas of health regulation, long-term care policy, federal revenue (Title XIX) procurement, the development of alternatives to institutional care, and developmental disabilities. Since 2010, he has been a consultant/grant writer for several prominent Massachusetts nonprofit organizations, including Special Olympics Massachusetts and Family and Children's Services of Greater Lynn. He attended the University of Chicago, where he recieved a Masters Degree in Public Policy, specializing in health policy and gerontology.
